Nørgaard filed a complaint with the police regarding Trump’s recent comments; Nørgaard accuses Washington of threatening both Greenland and NATO & he believes Trump is attempting to use fear of ships as an excuse for further expansion.

Local residents believe that these resource ambitions are the main reason for President Trump’s interest in Greenland.
