Apple has launched the new MacBook Pro M5 in India, featuring the powerful M5 chip, Liquid Retina XDR display, and enhanced AI capabilities.

MacBook Pro M5 Performance and AI Features
Apple has launched a 14-inch MacBook Pro in India, with an M5 price boost in AI resources. It has the latest powerful processor, the M5, which enables the MacBook Pro to handle more complex workflows and larger language models (LLMs) locally instead of requesting content from the cloud. The M5 has 4 Performance Cores, 6 Efficiency Cores, a 10-core GPU, and a 16-core Neural Engine. Each core now has a Neural Accelerator, so the AI performance will likely be 3.5 times as fast as that of the M4 and six times faster than the M1.
Display and Design of MacBook Pro M5
The MacBook Pro is equipped with a Liquid Retina XDR display measuring 14.2 inches with a 3024×1964 resolution, 120Hz refresh rates, and peak brightness of up to 1,600 nits; all powered by macOS Tahoe, and sporting a new Liquid Glass design language for a polished experience that is also responsive and reactive.
Additionally, Apple touts images rendered at higher contrast and less energy consumption in the new liquid glass. The 12MP camera with Center Stage and six-speaker systems with Spatial Audio improvements will enhance video calls and spatial audio functionality.
Battery, Storage, and Price
The MacBook Pro M5 model features 24 hours of battery life, a little over what the previous model, with a battery life of 22 hours. You can configure your 16GB or 24GB unified memory system with either 512GB or 1TB of SSD storage. The MacBook Pro 14-inch is available in Space Black and Silver colors, and its price starts at ₹1,69,900 for the 16GB/512GB base model, ₹1,89,900 for 1TB, and ₹2,09,900 for 24GB/1TB. The estimated shipping date for full orders will be after pre-orders start today, and will ship beginning on October 22, at the Apple website, Apple Stores, as well as vendors throughout the country.
